My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Even though there are more sides to internet marketing than just email marketing (permission based), email has been the foundation that our business sits on.

    If you’re writing a resume for a specific job, put the employer’s job description at the top of the list and use it to target the specifics you’ll include in your resume. If you’re looking into positions with several different employers, you may want to write more than one resume for each different job. The internet is a wonderful and magnificent thing. Young people today, growing up with easy access to the world’s knowledge via the internet, have no idea of how lucky they are.

I’ve been playing guitar for well over thirty years having started out with the classic Bert Weedon’s ‘Play in a Day’ book, way back in the 1970’s. In those days I couldn’t afford guitar lessons so I would watch guitarists very closely at every opportunity.

Todays technology has transformed the way that people can learn to play guitar. There are so many excellent guitar tuition DVDs that can be played over and over again, unlike a face to face guitar lesson. And the internet provides an ideal medium for the delivery of some great guitar tutorials.

While there are many guitar tuition websites by far my favourite resource is Youtube. You can find instructional videos on everything from choosing guitars to making your own electric guitar. There are videos for every level of learner from beginner through to old guys like me who want to learn a few new tunes and techniques.

Learning new licks, techniques and tunes from Youtube has become one of my favoured pass times. If the weather is bad then you will generally find me learning a new tune or two from Youtube. Its safe to say that my guitar playing has progressed more in the past five years, thanks to Youtube, than it did in the previous twenty years.

Another useful feature is that the system is interactive. When I find a video that I like I will always make it one of my favourites and often drop the performer a note to say thanks. Also, I like to ask the odd question and invariably the person who created the video will respond with an answer. Youtube is a bit like having any number of personal guitar consultants who are always happy to answer your questions.

These days I can’t help but feel a little jealous of the young people who are just starting to play guitar. I like to think that if I had been born at a time when the internet was available, providing this wealth of incredibly valuable instruction and guidance, who knows, I might have become the next Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Don’t smoke, or use chewing tobacco. They will add stains to your teeth, and give that bacteria an even better chance to harm your gums. As the bacteria continue to feast on your gums and mouth, you will notice things that point to gum disease.
